About Nepal Cycling Club

Nepal Cycling Club (NCC) was formed in 2004 under the rules and regulation of a club of Nepal Government. It is formed only to promote biking as an adventure sports in Nepal.

A bunch of biking professionals as well as bikers formed Nepal Cycling Club to organize different kinds of entertaining and sportive biking competitions. NCC is committed to the development of biking sports in Nepal as it has carried out several national-level competitions as well as competitions involving foreigners in past.

Among its past events, Kathmandu Adventure Rally is an annual event. NCC has organized two editions of the rally so far. The rally, recognized by Nepal Tourism Board, was coordinated by Japanese expert -----. It was a unique biking experience with the athletes given several puzzles enroute to the finishing line.

NCC has also carried out National Mountain Bike Championship twice so far. In both competitions, National champion Suresh Dulal emerged winner. In our first edition, we selected Lakuri Bhanjyang as our finishing point and the race begun from Kathmandu's nearest hill station Nagarkott. In the second edition, we chose Kakani as the beginning point and the race finished at Balaju By-pass.

The NCC is looking forward to sponsors to carry out a massive international biking championship in future. If we are supported by some enthusiastic sponsors, we are pining high hopes that we can organize a Kathmandu-Tibet Biking Championship, which will feature top bikers around the world.

Through this site, we want to invite sponsors across the globe to join hand with NCC for that proposed race. We have our proposal and the interested party can ask for the proposal of that race.

Among NCC's future plan, it is very keen to declare the best Nepali mountain biker of the year. Apart from giving some amount of money to the biker, NCC will arrange him a prosperous job in biking sector.
